This is the fourth LG page on this site, and it opens like the three before it: there is nothing here to disable over ADB. Neither the 2025 QNED9M and QNED92 on webOS 25 nor the 2026 QNED85B and QNED87B, which introduce webOS 26, are Android. No USB debugging, no sideloading, no list of packages to go through.

What you can do is in the webOS guide, and the first job is switching off Live Plus, the content recognition that ships enabled and that almost nobody finds.

This page covers the top of the range, which is where LG keeps its most expensive surprises.

The dearest set has the fewest HDMI ports

The 65QNED9MA6B is the wireless QNED: picture and sound travel through the air from a separate box. Its table says «Salida HDMI: 3ud (Soporta 4K 120Hz, eARC, VRR, ALLM, QMS (Puerto 3)», with «eARC (HDMI 2)».

Three ports. The 65QNED92A6A, which sits below it in LG's own catalogue, says «4ud (Soporta 4K 120Hz, eARC, VRR, ALLM, QMS (Puerto 4)» and «eARC (HDMI 3)». Four ports, and the eARC somewhere else.

And those three ports on the 9M are not on the television. The British page puts it plainly: «Plug all your devices into the Zero Connect Box instead of your TV». The small print adds two things worth reading before you buy: «Power cable connection to both the TV screen and Zero Connect Box required» and «Placement of Zero Connect Box in a cabinet may result in signal interference depending on the material and thickness of the cabinet».

Two mains sockets, and the box cannot be hidden inside the cabinet without risking the signal.

Sound goes the same way: the 9M declares «20W» and «2.0 Canales», the 92A «40W» and «2.2 Canales». The one above weighs 23.6 kilos without stand; the one below, 18.5.

In 2026 the eARC moves back to HDMI 2

On the 2026 QNED85B and QNED87B the line reads «Salida HDMI: 4 X (soporta 4K 120Hz, eARC, VRR, ALLM, QMS, QFT)» and «eARC (HDMI 2)». Four ports, the eARC back on the second one, and QFT added to the list.

That makes three years and three different eARC ports inside one brand: HDMI 2 on the QNED80A, HDMI 3 on the QNED87A and the QNED92A, HDMI 2 again in 2026. Before you hang the set on the wall, read your own table.

What still does not appear is the bandwidth. On the OLED C5 and G5 LG wrote 48 Gbps; on the QNED, neither in 2025 nor in 2026. The closest it gets is a footnote: «Según especifica el HDMI 2.1», with no figure.

The 65-inch QNED85B and QNED87B are the same television

This repeats what already happened with the UA73 and UA75. The two tables for the 65QNED85B6B and the 65QNED87B6A match field by field: same «Procesador Alpha 8 AI 4K Gen3», same «Precision Dimming», same four HDMI, same «Wi-Fi 5», same «20W» in «2.0 Canales», same «webOS 26» and the same «1456 x 840 x 29,7» millimetre chassis at 21.5 kilos without stand.

The regulated sheet declares the same to the decimal on both: class E with 84.6 W in SDR and class G with 145 W in HDR. In the European EPREL registry both go on sale the same day, 6 February 2026, with consecutive registration numbers (2591254 and 2591297), as with their barcodes (8806096694787 and 8806096694794).

The difference is the stand. The 85B has wide feet of «1167/425 x 295» and weighs 21.9 kilos assembled; the 87B, a central pedestal of «340 x 285» and 25.3 kilos. Three and a half kilos of stand, and that is the whole list.

The 43-inch of 2026 is a Mini LED, and still not the same set

Last year the 43QNED87A6D was titled «MiniLED» while its table said «Perimetral». This year LG has fixed that part: the 43QNED87B6A declares «Tipo de Retroiluminación: Mini LED», and it is one.

Everything else changes as before. «Tasa de Refresco: 60Hz Nativo» and «VRR: Si (hasta 60Hz)», against the 120 Hz with VRR to 144 of its siblings. «Salida HDMI: 3ud (soporta eARC, ALLM)», with no 4K at 120 Hz and no VRR on the line. «Procesador Alpha 7 AI 4K Gen9» instead of the Alpha 8 Gen3. And the cut that shows most: «HDR (High Dynamic Range): HDR10 / HLG». There is no Dolby Vision.

The European sheet confirms it with no room left: «Image refresh frequency rate: 60» Hz, class F at 51.1 W in SDR.

Illustration. Decorative: the diagrams in the text carry the detail.

Nits at last, but not in the table

This is the 2026 news. LG published no brightness for any 2025 QNED, and still publishes none for the 9M and the 92A. The body copy on the 2026 pages, however, does give the figure: «hasta 800 nits de luminosidad» on the 50, 65 and 86-inch sets, «hasta 500 nits» on the 43, and «hasta 2.000 nits» on the 115QNED93B6.

It is not in the spec table, nor in the regulated sheet. It is in the page text, next to the reflection figure: «reduce el 94% de los reflejos» on the ordinary ones and «el 98%» on the 115.

The dimming zones I trust less. Every page repeats «2.040 zonas independientes», the 60 Hz 43-inch page included. The 9M page says «5.184 zonas» in one place and «2.040 zonas» in another, on the same page. And LG's small print covers it: «Las especificaciones de las zonas Mini LED y de atenuación pueden variar según las pulgadas, modelos y región».

What goes backwards on the way to 2026

Three fields regress. Wi-Fi drops from «Wi-Fi 6» on the 9M and the 92A to «Wi-Fi 5» on every 2026 set, the 115-inch included. The tuner goes from «DVB-T2/T, DVB-C, DVB-S2/S» to «DVB-T2, DVB-C, DVB-S2», without the older variants. And the Dolby Atmos field, which the 9M, the 92A, the 100 and the 115-inch sets carry with a «Si», does not appear in the tables of the 65-inch QNED85B or QNED87B, Spanish or British.

The «Motion Booster 288» of the 2026 sets is not real refresh rate either: LG explains it as «VRR 144 Hz, duplicando hasta 288Hz». Interpolation, not panel.

How long they will keep updating it

The British sheet gains a year: «The security update is supported until: 31/12/2029» on the 9M and the 92A, and «31/12/2030» on the 85B, the 87B and the 115.

The regulated sheet holds its 8 years of software and firmware updates, spare parts and support from the end of sale, and the webOS programme keeps its «4 versiones siguientes de actualización en 5 años». The 2026 page sells it as a new smart TV «hasta el 2031».

There is one change in the small print worth noting. The 9M page carries, four times over, the warning that accepting the upgrade «puede ocasionar la perdida de determinadas características presentes en la versión anterior». That sentence appears on none of the 2026 pages I downloaded. A softer one replaces it: «Las actualizaciones del sistema operativo no incluyen características y funciones que dependan de hardware más reciente».

And a detail that sums up the state of the catalogue: on the British sheet for the 100QNED87B6, the security date field reads «Definable Spec Only in LG.COM». The blank was never filled in.

The microphone is not in the television

From the regulated sheet, on all five models: «Voice recognition sensor available: No» and «Room presence sensor available: No». The microphone lives in the remote, renamed in 2026 to «AI Magic Remote MR26GA / MR26GB».

What actually comes off

The same as on any LG running webOS, in order of payoff: Live Plus, the personalised ads and recommendations, and the apps webOS lets you uninstall. The step by step is in the webOS guide.

The 2026 sets add something to look at: voice search is no longer only LG's. The page announces «Google Gemini y Microsoft Copilot» as selectable models. What you say into the remote can end up at two more companies.

What this page could not settle

LG still publishes no HDMI bandwidth, no RAM and no internal storage, and no QNED supports HDR10+. The Spanish pages for the 65QNED86B6B and the 86QNED87B6A exist, carry a title and publish no spec table: the 86-inch one yields nothing but a barcode. About those two there is nothing to say yet.

Everything here applies to a device you own, and every removal is reversible. The limits of this project: What we do and do not do
