Terms of use
The essentials, without the filler: what this site is, what you can expect from it, and what you cannot.
What this site is
An informational directory, maintained by one person with help from anyone who wants to contribute. It is not a service, not a shop and not technical support. Information is offered as it is, with no guarantee of accuracy or outcome.
What you may do with it
You may read, copy and apply anything we publish on your own device. You may quote us by linking the source. What you may not do is republish the content wholesale as your own, or scrape the database automatically.
If you run something similar and want to reuse part of this, write first: in practice we say yes nearly every time, and that way it gets done properly and with a link rather than quietly.
Availability
This is kept by one person in their spare time and runs on shared hosting. There is no service commitment, no response time, and no promise the site will still be here next year. If it ever closes, we will say so in advance and leave the content downloadable.
Liability
You act on your own device and on your own judgement. We are not answerable for the outcome of operations you carry out, nor for direct or indirect damage arising from following what is published here. Everything we document is reversible by design, and even so the decision to run it is yours.
Put more briefly: if you are going to run a command on your television, read what it does first. Everything we publish comes with the command that undoes it, precisely for this.
Contributions
If you send us data about your television, you allow us to publish it anonymously as part of the directory. We do not publish your name or your e-mail address. You can ask us to withdraw your contribution by writing to the contact in the legal notice.
Advertising and affiliate links
This site carries advertising and may carry affiliate links. Where a link is an affiliate link, a purchase made through it may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. That is what pays for the hosting, the domain and the time spent maintaining it.
Affiliate links are marked as such. We never recommend a product because it pays a commission, and directory entries are unaffected by any commercial arrangement: if a package is dangerous to remove, we will say so even if the manufacturer were a sponsor.
Supporting the project
There is no paywall, no compulsory subscription, and there is not going to be one. If this has been useful and you would like it to carry on, you can back it directly. What comes in pays for the domain, the hosting and the mail, in that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law and by the law of the European Union. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights your country of residence gives you.
Changes
These terms may change. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
