What it is

Voice over IP service for Huawei MeeTime (com.huawei.meetime). Only works with EMUI 9.1+ Huawei phones.

Huawei claims they use E2EE but this wasn't verified and there is no whitepaper, so don't trust them.

They also collect metadata.

Commands

adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.huawei.hwvoipservice

To put it back:

adb shell cmd package install-existing com.huawei.hwvoipservice

Every removal listed here is per-user only: the system image is untouched, and the restore command puts the app back from the copy already on the device. Nothing is downloaded.
