What it is
Providess an isolated environment to store data (see Secure Folder)
Note: With Knox 3.4, Knox containers are now deprecated and replaced by Android work profiles.
Comunicate with Samsung servers:
- https://vas.samsungapps.com (App updates)
- http://cn-ms.samsungapps.com (APK Server).
Commands
adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.samsung.android.knox.containercore
To put it back:
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.samsung.android.knox.containercore
Every removal listed here is per-user only: the system image is untouched, and the restore command puts the app back from the copy already on the device. Nothing is downloaded.
