Samsung Text-to-speech service.

Works with applications such as S Voice; translation apps, GPS that require Text-To-Speech (TTS) functionality and reads back text.

WARNING: SOME VERSIONS OF THIS APP ARE VULNERABLE TO PRIVILEGE ESCALATION ATTACKS! It can allow arbitrary RCE as system (UID 1000). Identifier: CVE-2019-16253.

Commands

adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.samsung.SMT

To put it back:

adb shell cmd package install-existing com.samsung.SMT

Every removal listed here is per-user only: the system image is untouched, and the restore command puts the app back from the copy already on the device. Nothing is downloaded.
