What it is

Collects device activation data to remotely activate phone warranty.

In 2019 this package sent private data (IMEI, CELLID, CCID) in clear-text to zzhc.vnet.cn (chinese server). According to HMD (Nokia) it was a mistake.

Commands

adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.qualcomm.qti.autoregistration

To put it back:

adb shell cmd package install-existing com.qualcomm.qti.autoregistration

Every removal listed here is per-user only: the system image is untouched, and the restore command puts the app back from the copy already on the device. Nothing is downloaded.
