What it is

Qualcomm Display Color Management tool

Attempts to "make colors look vibrant and true to life". No idea if it actually does something useful or if it's only some garbage dynamic color tuning (they tend to destroy colors).

Contains a service, but I've never seen it run on my Oneplus 9. Could be tied to color "improvement" settings in Settings->Display (all of which are off for me).

Commands

adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.qti.snapdragon.qdcm_ff

To put it back:

adb shell cmd package install-existing com.qti.snapdragon.qdcm_ff

Every removal listed here is per-user only: the system image is untouched, and the restore command puts the app back from the copy already on the device. Nothing is downloaded.

This is not the directory. Here we say what a package is in general; what happens on your particular television is on your model's entry, and that one wins. The same package can be dead weight on one set and hold the home screen up on another.
