Nobody has two thousand televisions at home. The only way to know what a model ships is for somebody who owns one to run a command and paste the result. That is all we are asking for.

As printed on the sticker at the back, or on the box.

Code it reports

The result of getprop ro.product.device, if you have it.

A number is enough: 8, 9, 11…

Package list

The whole output of adb shell pm list packages. Paste it as it is, without trimming.

Only to tell you when your model goes up. You are not joining any list.

What you send is published anonymously if it is useful. We do not publish your name or your e-mail address. We keep your IP and country to stop automated submissions, as set out in the privacy policy.

How to get the list

Turn on ADB debugging on the television and connect from your computer.

The guides cover both steps
Ask for the package list:

And, if you can, these two as well:

adb shell getprop ro.product.device
adb shell getprop ro.build.version.release

Paste the output alongside and send. You do not need to have removed anything: the list on its own is worth having.

What we do with it

A person reads it. If the list is real and the model can be identified, we cross every package against the catalogue, write the entry and publish it with the command that undoes it. Nothing is published automatically or unread.

What NOT to send

A package list carries no personal data, but the notes are yours to write: do not paste e-mail addresses, passwords or serial numbers. If something slips through, we remove it on review.
