Provider of password security policies?

Content providers encapsulate data, providing centralized management of data shared between apps.

Seems to provide access to a password database but I don't know under what circumstances this database is used.

This provider is only usable by Samsung apps.

I see a com.android.security.PASSWORD_EXPIRED intent filter in the AndroidManifest so my guess is it handles password policies.

For example: A policy could force a user to change their password after a certain amount of time. That's a common policy in enterprise work.

Befehle

adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.sec.android.providers.security

Um es rückgängig zu machen:

adb shell cmd package install-existing com.sec.android.providers.security

Alle hier aufgeführten Deinstallationen gelten nur für das aktuelle Benutzerkonto: Das Systemabbild bleibt unangetastet, und der Wiederherstellungsbefehl holt die App aus der Kopie zurück, die ohnehin auf dem Gerät liegt. Es wird nichts heruntergeladen.
